No. If your delivery is located within a 50 mile radius of our lot, there is no charge for delivery.

All aluminum sheds delivered by 5 Star Portable Buildings are blocked with solid cap 4x8x16 concrete blocks and anchored with 36" mobile home anchors according to local requirements. Your shed will never sit on the ground to weather and rot! We offer blocking and anchoring services for all wood buildings for a fee based on the size of the wood shed.

No. Homeowners are responsible for the permitting process. We are happy to guide you through the process and provide you contact information for local municipalities. A permit packet is available for customers who need assistance navigating the permit process. For steel buildings, there is a permit fee available for customers who would like the steel manufacturer to pull permits. The fee is $150 plus the cost of permits for steel buildings.

Standard engineering plans are provided at no charge for portable sheds. If you buy a product that requires the Florida Building Code Responsibility Waiver, there is a charge for plans. If you would like an Original Engineered Stamped set of plans, the fee is set by the manufacturer and payable to the manufacturer directly.

Metal Sheds: Metal roofing sheets are warranted to not rupture, fail structurally, or perforate within a period of 20 years after purchase due to exposure to normal atmospheric corrosion. Wood Sheds: Sheet metal roofing are warranted to not rupture, fail structurally, or perforate within a period of 30 years after purchase due to exposure to normal atmospheric corrosion. Steel Buildings: Limited lifetime warranty on vertical roof style buildings and 10-year limited warranty on sheet metal and trim.

Metal Sheds: Pressure-treated wooden parts of the building (skids, floor joists) are warranted for 20 years against damage caused by termites or fungal decay that would make the pressure-treated lumber parts structurally unsound. Wood Sheds: LP Smartlock Flooring are warranted for 50 years against damage caused by termites or fungal decay. Pressure-treated wood skids under the subfloor are warranted for 20 years against damage caused by termites or fungal decay that would make the pressure-treated lumber parts structurally unsound.
